There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate broker- integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.

That said, in my 27 years as a  real estate professional, things have changed dramatically. When I started in real estate there was no such thing as a fax machine. Today "technology rules". If  you're not internet savvy, you're doing your clients a huge disservice. 

I am a listing broker. I occassionally help buyers but my main role at Realty Connection is listing your home. Most realtors have a niche where they excel. Mine is as a listing broker. I keep updated on all sales trends in the East Valley of Arizona,  my marketing tools are state of the art and I'm a born negotiator, which are all  things that you need in your listing broker. Doesn't it make sense to work with someone who specializes in one area of town and one area of real estate?

I have a CSSR (CERTIFIED SHORT SALE NEGOTIATOR) designation. I did my first Short sale in 1995 so when our market crashed, Short sales were already a part of my resume. As I've always done, I found where I could get the best education, picked the brains of the best people in the industry and started doing Short sales.

I have just aligned myself with a national Short sale company who I pay handsomely to negotiate my Short sales with your bank. I do that because, again, I feel we all have areas of expertise and I would rather be the best listing broker I can be and leave the negotiating to a national company, located in Scottsdale, who have been "doing only Short sales since 2004". They have dealt with all major mortgage lenders and most smaller ones and have many high level contacts in several banks which helps them get my deals done in the least amount of time with the least amount of damage to you and your credit. It just makes good business sense.
